10 Trolls are charging forward. A tarantula shoots one of them just as they begin their movement.

Can the remaining trolls leave the one that was just shot behind or do they have to stay within coherency?

They special case with the trolls is that the one that was just shot can actually regenerate in the end phase.

I believe they are allowed to continue their move and leave it behind... but once the left behind Troll regenerates it MUST be returned to the parent formation during the movement phase of the next turn... I'm not sure what happens if it can't. I think I saw something about this for Bloodletters at some point, I can't remember where.

I have a question for you Pettan. When will we get a battle report mister? :;):  I wanna' see these cool sounding battles that we only hear the questions for... What?.. I live vicariously through others. :))

Hi!

The unit may continue to move as the stand is considered "eliminated".

If it regenerates the unit must regroup the next turn.

Thanks for the speedy answers guys.

I know that I owe you guys a battle report or even better a few battle reports. What can I say. I will try to better myself   :p

The armies I play are so crappy painted though. What if all of ye laugh in my general direction? :vD

Sad to say my friends that I do play with are living in the north of Sweden and I in the south. We try to find time during summers and around Christmas to bash it out once and for all... again and again.. There is talk of a campaign though.. Perhaps a campaign report is in order if you can wait abit. Would that satisfy your thirst?

All reports are good ones and status of miniature painting should not deter you.  I believe someone here even used unpainted Stompers as Monolith proxies in a quite recent BatRep.

I have seen nothing here on TacComm to support this statement. You should know by now that the NetEpic members and indeed all TacComm members are all good guys... Besides, I would take the piss at any given opportunity (in a good natured way, I hope) even if your army was phenomenal.

I imagine we are all in the same boat as regards to how often we play. I count myself lucky if I manage four games a year.

Yes. The people here are really friendly and even if we don't always agree I find it a very friendly forum working together to make epic the best we can. If not I don't think people would stay.

But back to the reports. Something will have to be done. Ill get back to ya on that subject in.. Lets say 4-6 months... *sighs*

Jeeezzz... that's not many games. That's harsh and I admire you for sticking with the game. Makes me feel very lucky indeed- I found an opponent and fellow classic epic fan one mile away from my address! The main trouble I have is not lack of games but coming up against a very strong player...

If I had three months between games I think I would have A) a very well painted army and
B)a ludicrously detailed battle plan!

Oh, jee thanks, kick a dude while he's down why doncha'

My life sucks just now.  :sigh:

Swings and roundabouts mate. I used to play every week and now due to commitments and other players on shift work or living far away it's getting harder. Even GMing for our Cyberpunk RPG has taken a back seat. It does allow time for painting and other projects but the problem is I have too much to paint.

My battle plans would have an Ork shaking his head in disgust. I'm a firm believer in the paper, rock, scissors method of warfare. Unimaginative but hey.
