Most of the units (now) exist. You have a Wildboys Horde which is your "Feral Clan" and there are Boarboyz and Squiggoths and Mega-Squiggoths and a Steam Gargant and a Weirdboy without a tower. Just make a houserule that you can take multiple Wildboys Hordes and limit the support cards they can take to those applicable to "Ferals" and you're done. |

Damn, I messed this thread up trying to do something. Attached are the stats for my Feral Orks. Hope you enjoy. They're not complete so any help/assistance appreciated. |

I wondered what had happened to this thread. I'm not that familiar with the standard ork list. I'd just like to say that I find it a relief to see small lists like this for Netepic. Also assuming you're using the standard stats and points etc, then this looks a nice list for owners of the new Feral range. But don't expect it to get added to the standard list- most people seem to like the lists staying in the old Space Marine style. You missed stats for the madboyz, and their special rule and table. With matching new stuff in mind, maybe some Junkatrunks would be good? And EA version seems to allow normal boyz as well as wildboyz (proper feralz) in the army. |

![]() Feral Warboss v Troll Thanks loofnick, I just don't see why EA and E40K players should have all the fun. I also think the wider the choice in units available to players the more unpredictable the army you face will be. Exciting! However, these stats are all debatable and I will consider anyone's ideas and critique if they wish to post them here. I do intend on using this list in MY games but I'm not the Ork player of the group so I need help with it. I would use this list in conjunction with the normal Ork Clans as an addition. This is why there is no Feral Warlord (more tech evolved Clans would be in charge IMO) however there is nothing stopping you using this for Feral Ork Worlds and make up a Feral Warlord. You missed stats for the madboyz, and their special rule and table. Ok, I did think about doing this until I came against the problem of integrating a Feral Madboyz Mob with a 'normal' Mad Boyz Mob. I decided to assumed stats and rules remained the same for both. (Lazy, lazy, lazy. ![]() I didn't like the idea of Junkatrukks and didn't plan on using any (transports for Ferals supplied by Mega Squiggoths) but if you have any ideas please post em here and I will pass it off as my own. ![]() And EA version seems to allow normal boyz Really?! I suppose you could just include them in the Support Mobz choice and limit them to one per Feral Clan Big Mob. Sort of a Feral shooty Boy equivalent eh? But don't expect it to get added to the standard list- most people seem to like the lists staying in the old Space Marine style. As long as even one person shows some interest and perhaps even uses any of these ideas, either to further their own work or in an actual game then I'm happy. After all that is what I have been doing for the past five years with just about any Epic info I can get. (Yup that includes everyone’s work here too) I wondered what had happened to this thread. Lessons have been learnt and those responsible have been shot. Apologies to Zap for leaving him hanging by a thread. ![]() |

hanging by a thread. ![]() ![]() ![]() As I said, I'm not much knowledgeable about Orks (less then you). Just trying to be encouraging, and note a couple of things I saw. For instance I don't understand the madboyz comment you just made- I'm just too ignorant I guess ![]() Sounds like Junkatrucks could be any random light vehicle with a bit of Orkyificationalisation ( ![]() EA's version does allow basic Ork Boyz mobz- have a look at their list. It's not a long read. It's in Swordwind parts 2&4 http://www.specialist-games.com/epic/rulebook.asp |

Orkasaurs I see as just another name for MegaSquiggoth. Squigoth = Big (Vehicle Class) Mega Squigoth = Bigger (Superheavy Class) Orkasaur = Biggest (Superheavy Class) Surely the new version of the Squigoth is too large to stand beside the original and be called the same while this new Orkasaur model warrants a new set of rules. ![]() |

IIRC the Forgeworld "Gargantuan Squiggoth" is slightly larger than the SG "Orkeosaurus", and I figure the names are both interchangeable for MegaSquiggoth. I also think anyone with a clue would get the Forgeworld model ![]() |

Hey Zap, I also think anyone with a clue would get the Forgeworld model Ah, spoken like a true shareholder. ![]() and I figure the names are both interchangeable for MegaSquiggoth. At £15 they can call it what they like I wont be buying. ![]() However, I do have four E40K Big Squiggoths and ten smaller SM Squiggoths that I intend on using and this was a means to that end. IMO it kinda' looks a bit weird if you have runty looking Squiggoths with fur next to larger looking furless Squiggoths with no fur and then there's the irritation of them having the same stats when one is so much larger... oh, wait ![]() ![]() ![]() |

The Forgeworld mini is beautiful, while the SG one is butt-ugly. I am not in any way a fan of Forgeworld with their piss-poor quality control and (I imagine illegal) policy of not passing on VAT savings for foreign orders. ![]() I don't have any of the E40K Squiggoths (another fugly). Can see your point though....the old ones are probable one of the worst examples of Epic's variable scale after the Squat Land-Train. |
