Hey folks.

I see that the imperial superheavys are more expensive now compared to before. I guess this has to do with the "hittabels" for superheavys.

I also see that the tempest tank costs 900 for 6 of em. (2 squadrons of 3 each) Shouldnt they cost abit more? I do believe that this is the old cost before d6 is rolled for the superheavy.... Cant find anywhere either that it is possible to buy 1, only 3 or 6 is possible... Perhaps its supposed to be like that.

/Pete

You can buy tempest squadron of 3 for 500 points.
Don't know for the cost, I think it's OK: ok you've got the table, but they haven't got that pesky command tank like IG.

I don't think it's a mistake, and I think those are the old values.

Tempests can be quite vulnerable to close assault (for a super-heavy); units of 3 often lead to the last one having to fall back after breaking; and the points didn't increase very much for the other super heavies anyway.  So a small advantage to them seems ok to me.

Of course being a skimmer can make them a pain to deal with... I still think they're ok.

Maybe you guys are correct. Can anyone with the old army cards check how much they cost back in good old days when I didnt have any beard?

As far as I remember from the good ole days..

1=200?? (guessing)
3=500
6=900...

And it could be the same now.. Thats my point...

Just checked.  They are exactly the same as in Space Marine.  And never came in singles.

Unfortunately I can't confirm the length nor timing of your beard.

Hi!

Yes, those are the original SM costs. The remained the same due to the vulnerability to close combat. IG superheavies are MUCH better in this regard.
