And maybe the Stormhammer 225/250 (planertary defence force 250) should be the same everywhere or maybe there is a reason.. Dunno..

Could very well be that I am totally off but to me it seems that some super-heavys of the orcs are really cheap. Could it be that they never have been made more expensive with hittabels. Maybe some long-time lurker can finish off that question with some well spoken words. Comparison... Baneblade 1 baneblade = 200 3 baneblades= 500 After change.. 1 Baneblade 225 3 Baneblades 650 so the big card became 150 more expensive.. Makes me think that the one banebalde should cost 250 atleast... But well. I do think the Stormhammer costs different for different armies... 225/250 (planertary defence force 250) /Pete |

Yes, but imperial S-heavys has become more expensive. Orcish has not I believe.. Stompa detachment.. 250 pts.. Morale 4 Skullhamma & Giletgrinda 100 each.. Morale 4 Compare that to for example Leman Russ tanks.. 250 pts Morale 5 crappy save, alot worse caf, No transport ability No Superheavy hit tabels... The orcish Superheavys did get the same boost as the rest of the superheavys.. But as the tempest they didnt become more expensive.. Just my 2 cents.. (and yes, I feel like a whiner) /Pete |

I have no idea why the Stormhammer is costed higher than a Shadowsword/Baneblade for the PDF, that looks like a typo. Not sure why a Stormhammer costs anywhere near a Shadowsword or Baneblade at all, but not a big deal as I never use them Skullhammas and Giblet Grinders seem fine where they are....they dont have anywhere near the range/firepower of the Imperial SHTs, and Stompas are just rubbish IMO....they should be cheaper if anything. The Orks have tons of stuff that would be heaps dearer in another army, and this is to compensate for all the limitations an Ork army has to deal with. From my experience the Orks in NE5.0 seem well balanced and I don't see any need to adjust them. |

Maybe a small cost reduction for the stormhammer could be a good thing no ? I have some of them and I'm still not sure playing them because they cost the same than others more competitive SHT. Reducing cost for Stormhammers to 200 and 550 for a company could be nice. About stormblade, the short and large front canon is not reflected in the stats, is it normal ? |

Hi! Guys, the archives for netepic gold are now in the hands of the new layout people. This means in all likelihood netepic gold, in its final form, should be with us by Labor Day. What this means is that we can (and must) go over all the rules and point costs to assure ourselves everything is good to go. I need to formally constitute a "review board", which shall get the final layout and go through it with a fine tooth comb to find errors and finally adjust unit costs. I already know that some of you want to do this, but I need to have a formal list.
