Hi,

I wanted to know if a definitive (or not) profile for the landing craft has been done ?

I have read different posts on the Astartes Errata thread, found the .doc from the ML and as I think it will surely be available in the Adeptus Astartes Gold Codex (any realease date  :;): ), it would be great if we could get a first view of its stats :D

I have started a thread and discussion about the stats on Epic_fr ( based on the replies here) and some members have posted their ideas and advices so before going further, I'd like to know if the stats are already written or not.

I have sent the Astartes errata and inclusions to WMN.  I'll dredge out the Dropship stats and post here once I get back to work.

The Landing Craft (currently available in GW e-store) will have different stats than the OOP Imperial Dropship, or am I wrong ?

No idea about the dropship, but the SM Landing Craft (according to E:A) has capacity for 12 stands of marines, and either 4 Land Raiders or 6 Rhino chassis.

The Landing Craft is indeed included in the Adeptus Astartes Gold rules. (Which have been finished and uploaded to the EpiCentre more than a month ago... Not sure where to though ??? )

Marine Dropship  60cm  3+  +3  Battlecannon 50cm 1 4+ -2  Flier, Superheavy, Deep Strike, Void Shields (2), PD (9), Transport (18)*

* Maximum of 6 vehicles.

Marine Dropship - Break = Model; Morale = 2; VP = 3; Cost = 300

here are my little comments (maybe it's already too late):

- Should not be called "Marine Dropship" but "Marine Landing Craft" (GW Name) to avoid confusion with the Dropship when talking about it (unless the previous Dropship profile has been dropped).
- To be closer to the mini:  2 lasgun turrets with: 50 cm 2 5+ -1 instead of battle cannon 50cm 1 4+ -2 ?

An other question : the lading craft can transport 18 stands or 3 SM detachments.
And the SM company officer ? on the wings ?  :laugh:

Well, it could land a Scout company minus the Command stand, or it could land 2 detachments of Marines with their Rhinos (clearly the intent of the design).  If you're commenting on space vs. model size you are trying to be logical and literal and really must stop it or you'll go blind/crazy :D.  Ask how a full company of Squat infantry fit in a Leviathan, or 10 terminators into a Land Raider.....

I think you're a little confused, Post. The transport capacity is 18 total, of which 6 may be vehicles. So, it can't actually transport an entire company.
