Hmm, to be fair i hope we get something that can be used for Onslaughts own ruleset and of course EA in its different incarnations(or what ever you like to play).
And of course I am here because I like the slann (fantasy and scifi). Its a question of balance.
Can someone post a list of all units(without the stats) from any existing armylist? I was hopelessly confused XD

Edit:
Now i somehow can even find it anymore. :(

Well this all sprung out of the Net Epic rules set, which is what I believe Deacon is going to use as the basis. And it is a well put together rule set.
Primarch has filled you in on the various units and I guess that is a good a base as any to start with, those models could easily be transposed into EA with their own rules at some point. Though I did mention earlier that we shouldn't just restrict ourselves to those units listed in the army list, that big floating pyramid for example might do well as one of the titans with a tweak to the rules.

While I'd like these miniatures to be a suitable proxy for the NetEpic Slann list - I'm not going to base my miniatures on the list directly. I see these concepts evolving into something wholly original in the Onslaught universe.

Understandable. I would expect the list that has been created for NetEpic to evolve and change significantly once we get our greasy little mits on some of your sweet models. At least it gives you a few ideas to start from.
As with any army, the core stuff like characters, infantry, vehicles, titans will be much the same whatever rules set that is used.

Hi!

Also keep in min Deacon the only reason the net epic list looks as it does is because back then there weren't much options. I say design based on your own gut feeling and those wonderful drawings we've seen and let me handle fitting the army list to what you make.

This list is the only one that was actually limited by model availability (note the lack of slann vehicles), so dare to be creative and original. :)

Anyways, I have already decided to overhaul it depending on what you put out. ;D

Some more sketches. I really like the floating ball thrones. I will try to fuse them. You can see first ideas in the upper right corner.

the big guy is a sketch for infantry.

Looks good.
Like the top right version with the Slann sat in an indentation on the top of the ball rather than precariously balancing on top.
Had a thought that because the Slann very rarely move and communicate mostly telepathically that they have taken to being hardwired into their thrones to boost their powers. They would have loads of cables running from their bodies to their thrones like you see in anything Cyberpunk or like the guys from the Matrix, sort of like this:

Hardwired head

Yes, that is the plan. You can see in the sketches that some slann have wires in their heads. But wires feel not very... slaanish... (wait a minute =__o )
So I try to find a good grade of cyborgification and the best way to visualize it.

Seeing as they are meant to have produced the Necrons borgy cabling sounds good, otherwise consider using biotech styled cabling and connectors, leech style adaptors and vine like cabling.
