MERRY CHRISTMAS NetEpic fans!  Updated the first page of this thread with the download link for the Imperial Guard book. I was hoping to have the Chaos book ready as well, but I'm still waiting for a final few details to get sorted. Won't be more than a couple of days though, I promise

It might be my end, but I don't seem to be able to successfully download the books from the Cybershadow hosted list.  Looks like the ones on Taccom's hosting are ok....are they the same? I can quickly photograph the Questor Titan, Silver Tower, and Chaos Spawn if these are still outstanding. By the way, just to reiterate...frippin' awesome work BTW!!!!  |

Looking at the IG book it appears it may have been based on a pretty old version of the NetEpic 5 book.  I'll see if I can track down all the changes that have been made since this version....might take a while.  First ones I spotted: Army Cards Need to add a Storm Trooper company - 2 Storm Trooper CHQ stands & Command Rhino 3 Storm Trooper Platoons Commissar & Command Rhino 15+1 3 7+1 700 Mechanised Company - VP should be 8+1 and cost 750 Mechanised Assault Company - VP = 7+1 cost 650 Vindicator Company VP = 5 cost = 450 Airborne Company - should be removed. Detachments Add - Storm Trooper Platoon 6 Storm Trooper stands & 3 Rhinos 5 3 3 250 Add - Mechanized Tactical Platoon * 6 Tactical stands & 3 Chimera 5 4 3 250 Also - Mechanised Assault/Heavy/Tactical - change "any 3 Chimera Variants" to "3 Chimera" under Chimera Army card add new entry - Chimera Assault Squadron * Swap 3 Chimera for any 3 Chimera variants +0 3 +1 +50 Add - Hydra Squadron 3 Hydra AA Tanks 2 4 3 300 Vindicator Squadron = 150 points Flyers - Orion Transport detachment should be replaced with standard Valkyrie transports.  (never seen that one before?) - Valkyrie Squadron * 5 Valkyrie Light Transports 3 4 3 250 Unit Stats Special Major - add Inspirational Infantry Add - Storm Trooper 10 cm - +1 Hellguns 50 cm 1 5+ 0 Elite Vehicles Destroyer Tank Hunter - should be 75cm 1 4+ -3 Hellhound - move = 20cm add - Hydra AA 20 cm 3+ 0 Autocannon 100cm 4 5+ -1 AA artillery Medusa - Howitzer should be 75cm 1 5+ -3 (the -6 vs structures in notes is correct) I think that's everything in the tables. |

Hi WMN, As agreed would you make the following two changes to unit rules pretty please? (actual text changes underlined) Ork Book: Pulsa Rokkit: These are huge rocket-shaped explosives that have a variable range. Each rocket carrier has one rocket and is therefore a one-shot weapon (so you get three shots per detachment). Pulsa Rokkits can only be fired when the detachment is on First Fire orders and only one rokkit per detachment may be fired per turn. The arc of fire is a narrow 30 degrees to the front of the rokkit. Range is 50 + (artillery die times 5) cm, with a Misfire indicating the Rokkit has failed to launch this turn. Once you have a landing point, scatter it 2D6 cm. Place the small Pulsa template (3 cm diameter circle) at the impact point. Roll 1D6 for the rokkit when it lands and consult the following table: Chaos Book: Under the Greater Daemon and Daemon Prince rules: 4. “That Didn’t Hurt!†|

Just a small status update, as I'm currently busy with exams: I've decided to take my website offline. Mainly due to some economic issues, but also because I've been wanting to switch to a new domain name for several years now. This means that the proof reading documents are currently unavaliable, and also that I will no longer be able to recieve any mails sent to chris (at) mustangsalling.dk. Anyone who can suggest a good free temporary host for files up to 100mb in size? With regards to status, then the squat book is about 50% done, Adeptus Mechanicus 95%, Eldar 99% Once I'm done with the exams I'll finish the squat book and move on to the next book. Probably Tau, though Tyranids or Necrons are close followups. |
