I've done this for Squats. basically you can cut and paste from the CARDS sheet on to the LIST sheet and autosum on the right. I've found it reasonably quick to generate an army from this. For armies like space marines you could just to a master cards tab then have other tabs for the specific chapters (delete units they can't use and add in units that are chapter specific)

Hello! I'm probably being thick, but I had a look at both Mattman and Magnus' lists and couldn't see cards or list sheets. Is this a document you created yourself? Could you possibly post up an example? It would be much appreciated if you wouldn't mind!

Cheers!

Those do look sweet Mr Blooby. Might knock up another version of the marines in a similar format.

I have attached a version of the marines with formation and stand tables along with a simple army builder spreadsheet.

Regards,

Matt

Happy to help guys. Primarch - are you able to provide unit and cards in excel format?? This would make this alot easier.

Hi!

I don't have MS office, but I do have Open Office that has a similar layout, would this suffice?

How exactly would you want it, just name of unit, card type and cost?

was hoping for a copy of whats in the back of the army books. Essentially what i did with squats is get army book and run the stats, etc. through OCR programme and then spent ages putting into excel spreadsheet. open office is fine. Main issue is the formatting generated frim OCR process.

Hi!

Now that I have your squat example, let me begin work on this. Do you have a preferred ETA for this?

way i did it was do the units list and double check it. you can then cut and paste from that into the cards list. ETA?? No hurry if that's what you mean.

Hi!

I'm gearing up to tackle this, you have the squat one and Mattman did the SM one. Should I consider these two "done"?

If so I will begin with IG and work from there.

Hi!

I have completed the IG spreadsheet.

I will continue with another army list until all are competed. :)

Hi Primarch,

could I suggest including unit stats with the company cards. So when a player is designing thier army they just cut and paste and have the stats conveniently under the card heading. That was the main reason I did it. It takes a bit mroe work initiallly but saves alot of work in the long run.
Thanks for your hard work.
