Yeah, flakwagons suck, but orcs have another one, the doomdiver. It has unlimited range and so poses a serious threat as long as they are in the game (which can be a long time considering they are most of the time under the dragsta shield.

And thunderbolts only work against other fighters or bombers. But since flyers cannot pin other flyers (which might be reconsidered), they are useless against flying transports making a landing move.

Well, I did post a thread about Interception as an additional idea, but...

Ok, the game is on and kicks off tomorrow as planned. However, pre-battle jitters are getting the better of me... damn this waiting...

Pre-fight check... the camera is packed, the batteries and spares are charged and packed and the army is also packed snug inside their case. The Eldar rules and stats are printed and the units taken are marked for ease of reference. I've brushed up on the rules and stats and I've just remembered I'll need dice, so they'll be my next item in the rucksack. I think I'm good to go.
