He is in exactly the same boat with his Vampyre!  

If you were still lower in activations I'd either land where there is no chance of being charged, or only land when you have initiative.  If you do drop first you a) land your T-Hawk, b) he lands his Vampyre.  Then you get your Scouts out and can dogpile the Vampyre if that's what you want to do....though you probably dont have enough to stop him getting his cc troops out.

huh? Can Thunderhawks still be deployed later?    I thought you had to deploy them with the rest of your army now. At least I didn't find anything in the rules on that.

Sorry, had meant to remove that second paragraph....did the cut and paste and correction, but forgot to delete the old version (early onset of senility?).  Ignore ramblings about being offboard....T-Hawks lost their deepstrike a long time ago. (more symptoms    )

You can also use your T-Hawk as a big fighter....it should kick the Vampyres' butt.
