As to the Sisters Repentia, perhaps we keep the price high but make it "by the end of the 4th turn"?

Thanks Zap,

4th turn sounds better. I will change Repentia rules.

Flaming heck scream that is some awesome Squat army. I read through the whole thread, that was an amazing amount of effort and hard work. Did you manage to get the extra Praetorians and expand to a 60K force? Is there an update of pics and OOB? Simply  8v)  :D

Damn, project number two is queued on the 'to do' list.

Oops, sorry scream. Order Of Battle. Please if you have updated pics and a breakdown of your force organisation I would be interested. Sounds like an opportunity for another post my friend, eh?  :)

I just added 2 pics to my initial squat thread, but I will not start a big discussion on my squat organisation in this SOB thread ;)

Thanks again scream, very cool.

So what do you think of Zaps 4th turn VP idea? Sounds alright to me and I'll test it out over the weekend but what are your own thoughts?

4th turn could be long to be reached. In all the NE games I played, victory arrived at least during 3° turn (sometimes before), and in this turn, both players may have reached victory condition. As the Repentia sisters only have CC weapons, they surely will be on charge order each turn. If you play with a standard battlefield size, opponents are separated by 80cm so in 2° turn, they can be at the middle of the table. You can also place them in a rhino detachment, and in the first turn, they can be at 45cm + 15cm away from their deployment zone, probably close enough to be in CC during this turn ;) So 3° turn may be enough, 4° turn may be too late.

I had a look at the Repentia again and spotted that when the Mistress dies they triple their movement too... hmmm, yes I suppose allowing them to ride in Rhino's etc would be ok and solve any problems...

Ah, damn I'll have to change the rules to turn three but I'll wait to see if Zap agrees too. Pretty sure he will. So he was right all along and I should have   ... again    :glare:  :glare:

I'm happy to put them back to turn three  ???

I've drafted up Arbites basically as discussed.  I also added Arbites Support with grenade launchers and stats similar to (but not quite as spectacular as) Noise Marines.  Probably 50cm, 3BP -1TSM...squad of five + Gorgon for 300.  I'm thinking that the Arbites Company and Support cards should all be special....thoughts?

Sorry for taking so long to answer Zap. Not long finished a two day...ish battle. I'm so bleedin' tired now.

I like the sound of some of your options for the Arbites and would like to see them. Discussion is certain.

Here are the stats and composition I have for my Arbites. Any stats that do not figure into NetEpic standard (Multi Laser) are just how we do things here and easily modified back. Again the fraction thing is there but again only relates to our corner of the world and not meant as official rules or suggestions... honest.

I feel that the Adeptus Ministorum army should be free to pick SOB and any one other type of units from either Arbites, Inquisition or Frateris so long as all these different types are only allowed to select their own support and special cards. Like a mini list within the main list with no mixing units within the army.
I don't imagine that this will sit well at all with many but having just organised and played with this type of army and I would have been hard pressed to do what I needed without it being organised so.

Stats are pretty close, but these are an addition/insert to the Frateris, not a complete stand alone list.  The Arbites shock troops stats are almost spot on, but I gave them a 5+ fixed save for that whopping great suppression shield.  For the standard troopies (Riot) I gave them shotties with 25cm 3+ 0 and a CAF of 1.  Added the support troops I mentioned.  All are 5 stand squads transported in Gorgons, with a company of 2 each of Shock and Riot and lead by an Arbitrator (basically the same as a Commissar) in a Command Gorgon.  Big, but expensive company, and all are Special cards.  The Frateris get this at the expense of the Tactical and Heavy detachments.  Might have to hunt down some Gorgons
