If this is going in the options book I guess you can do anything you want really.  IMO however, I think cards that add to existing detachments/break work ok if the whole list is geared that way (Orks) but could well be problematic for lists that dont work that way.  Having a bunch of walking Tarantulas that add to the (already huge) breakpoint of an IG Beastmen company may be an issue IMO.

Thus I would do upgrades as purely a cost/VP increase with NO impact on break point.

Thus an upgraded unit cost more, yields more VP's, but it's break point remains the same.

The game dynamics are not compromised this way.

i would also make dame sure that its only infantry companies that is allowed to use them otherwise it could be a mess with example super-heaves getting that kind of support

yes but with a save on 0 and a caf of 0 (have thought of givin it a minus 1 or 2 do to its lake of any way to defend it self from a man with a screwdriver)

release of final draft is put of until tomorrow just need the final input inform of is it snap fire of quickdraw and the final price in point value

i have worked all night to write draft 3.0 it is now send to Dwarf supreme for edit and then it is released for game testing on my site
