Great stuff, makes me want to get my undead pictures up (Hosts of the Banelord, I know, to much D&D) |

Some Skeleton Warriors - Byzantine "thematoi" footsoldiers risen from the dead to swear allegiance to the Fallen Empire and its Undying Emperor.

Great job on those, it is a pity that no one does Anubis dog headed warriors to mix in with these fellows Maybe at some point Micro world or someone will add a small line |

Nice bone-tones on those! Egyptian fantasy undead and myth is definitely planned. Pretty much all the art is complete for it. |

A company of Skelly-Men archers. As you can tell, I’m painting at the positively blistering pace of one unit every few weeks or so. Attachment: One thing I can’t deny is how good these guys look in mass formations. Attachment:

With the release of the new 3mm fantasy line from Microworld I’m rethinking what I want from my 6mm armies. For the Undead, I always wanted to have a skeleton army for Warhammer Fantasy Battles back when we played 3rd Edition, when my friends and I were young and before we all got to high school and started being dicks to each other, and kids do. But with such great 6mm Microworld fantasy figures and the advent of things like custom laser cutting and my own ability to paint, I’m pursuing it again. So far I’m feeling it. I’m feeling it!

Hi, I just wondered if you had any updates on the progress of your project. Would love to see more pics of your figures. |

I have a thing or two but for some damn reason the forum calls my photos “invalid files.” I’ll see if I can correct for that a little later - you’re too kind! |

This problem is common and mr Cybershadow is looking into this, so I am told. |

Giving this another shot here. I basically have a pretty substantial army of undead from the Fallen Empire. And the upcoming Microworld “Crusader State” army is going to be quite ideal to face them down.

Here’s some painting, prototyping a sufficiently Byzantine color palette. Insofar as the byzantines had a color palette at all.

The idea is that a force this size is sufficient to cause havoc in the outlying parts of the County of Edessa, and when the 3mm scale Undead come out, the real sieges and grand battles will begin in earnest. |
