Have at last finished my crater dwellers faction for the Martian Alliance. They debut in battle next week and I haven't even made the terrain board yet. Look out for the panzer division. Whoever would have thought of the fantastic similarity of the wildland Alliance to Planet of the Apes? If my brother had not come and lent me the video at the exact moment I was looking at the new releases, I would not have done so.
I really enjoyed painting these chaps. Next up in a couple of months will be the remainder of the technocrats. I also had the crazy idea to use my unpainted lizardmen with sci fi dinosaur riders to create a sort of Crystal skull type aliens leading lizards in Mayan jungle army. All this and the ogres, rats, apocalypsists, renaissance people etc all to come. It's a good time to be around.
