hi all, just a quick note to say Lord and Lands fantasy rules, 80 pages with all the background for Microworlds fantasy range. should be going to the publisher in the next few days, all factions are in there, army lists etc, army lists for planned releases for this year will be available for free download as they come out as will existing army lists. Everything released to date are in the rules, final price yet to be arranged but should be around $16 perfect bound full colour, soft back. Pdf version will be available too. I'll keep you posted as I count down to release date.

Did you post it on the Specialist Games forum yet? That's where most of the Warmaster players are.

Will the pdf be available through wargames vault and if so do you have an estimate for when it will be available. Can you let us know what the base sizes are and roughly how many units to an army?

Pdf should be available through WGV in a couple of weeks, bases sizes not rigid, but my collection is infantry and cav 80x30mm, magic users and command stands 35mm circular bases. Movement is measured in base widths so your not restricted by having a rigid basing measurement but 80mm frontage gives a nice movement allowance, you could happily use armies based on Warmaster system and just put two together. Monsters are on 40x40 bases in my collection, this lets me get two monsters into frontal contact with an infantry unit. 8-14 bases should give you approx a 1000-1500pt army that should be a 1-2 hour game. Movement and combat are simple and fast the real conundrum is where will you allocate your command pips and how important are your plans once your going at it toe to toe.

As soon as the rules are released I'll put army lists up for free download

Thanks for getting back to me so Quickly. Sounds very interesting and luckily I have based my figures on 8cm frontages with characters on circular bases. Look forward to seeing them. Best of luck

How would this compaire to Kings of War? If you played that before. Bought and based/apinted all my microworld to be used in that system but in 6mm and converted all inches to cents.

Have not played it sorry, but if your units are based similarly to your opponents it should be fine. My infantry is on 80x30mm bases, monsters 40x40 and commanders and magic users on coins. All rules are finalised and hopefully going to publisher over the weekend. I've included a pic of my Wildland army so far to give you the idea

Well nothing more I can do its off to the publisher, free army lists will be available over the weekend from http://www.craigarmstrongonline.org I've decided to put them online instead of in the book to keep print costs down and in light of the ever evolving list of products available from Microworld

Rule book proof copy should be back from the printers by the end of the week, I'll post when I know more. Don't forget free army lists and QRS available from www.craigarmstrongonline.org and the Facebook page Lord and Lands for updates and eventually rules discussion once released for purchase. I'm very keen to keep printed price low but PDF version will be available for those on a tighter budget. Thanks guys
