I have been mulling over releasing some other 6mm stuff for different genres, other than my usual scifi and fantasy. Specifically I was thinking either some post-apocalyptic stuff, or maybe like an industrial fantasy type line. Like generic fantasy tropes, but with more advanced technology. Like maybe around or just before WWI era tech, but with some fantasy twists thrown in. Armored trolls with machine guns and flamethrowers, large wooly beasts with gun emplacements on them, dwarf walking fortresses of multiple classes, dwarf mechanika suits, human armies with big land ironclads, elves who eschew gunpowder in favor of magic-energized crystal tech utilizing dragons in place of armored vehicles. Things like that. Thoughts? Then again I have a ton of stuff I want to release for straight up fantasy. Its just that I was reading the thread on making the points system for Netepic, and I was thinking it would be cool to port that over to another genre. |

Something more along the lines of Ralph Baski's Wizards or more like Suckerpunch? |

I'll be honest, there's so many really awesome fantasy models that you do that I wouldn't have time to even consider another style. Fantasy all the way, now that I just got a victim friend (also in NJ) to commit to driving up and getting a couple armies from you. |

I think this sounds great. Walking beastly fortresses, and armoured fantasy creatures sounds great. I think that rat men with guns and armoured beasties would sell fantastically well. If you're unsure, why not come up with a few examples and do a kickstarter, or some other method of crowd funding to garner interest so you don't sink in too much of your own cash on an uncertainty. |

Personally, I'm not interested in anything not Fantasy. So I would prefer if you would concentrate on that. On the other hand, you are producing miniatures faster than I can paint them. So there would be time for a few things from a different range. Perhaps something that would mix well with fantasy, like steampunk or musket area. |

I don't think the Fantasy will suffer from a release perspective. I literally have an entire demon army sculpted and waiting for moldmaking. The wildland sculpts are on the way to me from the UK. 6 additional troll sculpts are on the way to me from the UK, intended for a dedicated goblinoid army in the future. Both the Ogres and Wererat armies will likely be finished sculpting by the year's end, and there are a bunch of new Wood Elf sculpts I should be hearing about soon as well. So my release schedule for next year, in terms of 6mm Fantasy is already impossibly full. I just felt like releasing something a bit different, and maybe spacing out the fantasy stuff a bit. I didn't want to go with straight scifi, as that is covered so well by many others. I'm currently solidifying some ideas and backstory, I'll probably get some art done and post it up for opinions. |

You already have a couple ideas from me but those are more along classic sci-fi, I like the idea of dirigibles or flying galleons, I tend to gravitate more towards gas light than sci-fi . Historicals pretty much covers my Powder Mage project. |
