Call me an idiot, a noob, inexperienced, etc. But what is the simpliest or easiest way to put the dang wings on these Hawk Riders?

I don't have much experience with 6mm or metal miniatures much. No 'green stuff' to work with either, just super strength Permabond adhesive.

I haven't put them together before but in my experience with hard to assemble metal drilling and pinning is win. If not you have to hold them together till the glue sets enough to set it down carefully and and not touch it for an hour then get more glue in the crack to strengthen the connection.

I have several packs assembled, all of them were just glued with regular 'superglue' cyanoacrylate without problems. As blind says, once they are glued in place leave them for a while to make sure the bond sets really firm. Apply glue, hold part in place, once you can feel it start to bond arrange it so gravity holds the wing in place (stops any slight shakes of your hand unsettling the bond) until the bond is stronger.

Holding the wings inplace was abit annoying until they started to take hold, but otherwise they were easy to put together.

Buy some kicker. If you aren't familiar with kicker, it will set the glue immediately, so you don't have to hold the two pieces being glued together. Some say kicker weakens the gluing strength of the glue. I have no scientific data, but I've never found it to weaken the bond.

Additionally, I'm a diabetic. I fill an old needle/syringe with enough kicker to get me through the project (you can't store the kicker in the syringe as it will eat away at the rubber on the end of the plunger in the syringe). The needles are very small and you can get them into very tight spaces, so you don't waste the kicker or get it all over the model. Using this process, a bottle of kicker will last you a very long time.

You can purchase needles/syringes at any pharmacy.
