Thought I would post a little update, since I have been quiet for a while. My day job doesn’t leave too much time for me these days, but I have been getting lots of releases ready for the 2nd part of the year, as well as ironing out the release schedule for 2013. The Dread Elf arm is completely cast and ready for sale. I am holding off putting them up on the site until I have a chance to at least paint a stand of each, which will likely mean they will not go up for sale until mid-Auguist. Other than that, the Kreen walker production molds will probably all e pressed by the end of the week. They will then have to be cast and sent to the painters, so it is looking like a probable mid-September release for them. I will probably round out the year with the release of some goblin wolf-riders and Orc Archers, which have been a long time coming. Going forward, besides a sporadic scifi release here and there, I will mostly be concentrating my resources on expanding the 6mm fantasy line. Are there any armies/units people would like to see? I will be shooting for 3-4 armies to be released per year, depending of course on sales. Two armies definitely slated for release next year are Lizardmen (being sculpted this summer) and the army of the Firmament (molemen, stone soldiers, Elemental earth soldiers, etc.) which has already been sculpted. Currently for the last slot in 2013 I was thinking a Barbarian-type army, but I am definitely open to suggestions. |

@ Thedespot29, I would really love to see a medieval style human army similar to what the Empire is for WHFB. I consider your norsk raiders army kind of a barbarian army. My vote is for an Empire style army, cannons, handguns, heavy horse, archers, men at arms. Blind- |

In your blog post on your site called "Revised plans for 2012" you were talking about maybe doing a elven kingdoms army. You don't mention them above, have those plans been scrapped? As for your question I'd like to see an elven kingdom army like you were thinking. If there would be something I think your range is lacking then it's a human army (of a more orderly kind than vikings, like a human empire/kingdom) so my suggestion would be for you to do that first. I really dig your 6mm fantasy range! ![]() cheers |

@Dave I will be shooting for the end of the year for Heavy weapons and possibly a large battlesuit in the same style as the power armor. As for a not-Empire type army, there are a few reasons I haven't done one. One of the main problems with the human armies is that there are so many other historical 6mm ranges that could be used for fantasy stand-ins. The Vikings are still some of my lowest selling packs, which makes me hesitant to further invest in human fantasy armies in a big way. The Barbarians are a bit different, as I was going to have them done a bit more high-fantasy-esque than the Vikings. Another point, and this is a bit selfish of me, but I would not want to paint an Empire army in any scale ever! @Borka a vanilla Elven Kingdoms army is still planned, but since I was releasing the evil elves first I was going to space them out a little bit. As for the human kingdom, see my comments above. Like, if I made mounted knights and armored human warriors, why wouldn't someone just buy some War of the Roses figs? Or other late medieval figs? Don't get me wrong, I definitely want to get to do some fantasy human armies eventually, I just thought I would do some wacky fantasy stuff first. |

Aside from humans and Helves mentioned above, I'd like not-chaos and not-ogres. An expansion to the undead range could also be fun, to include non-skeletal elements. As for low selling vikings, not wanting to be harsh, but i just don't think the figs look as good compared to your other races. |

My vote is for an Empire style army, cannons, handguns, heavy horse, archers, men at arms...... +1 Sculpt once, sell to both the fantasy crowd and anyone looking to do Renaissance/Italian Wars, for which the 6mm offerings are only Heroics and Ros at the moment which aren't everyone's cup of tea. The Warhammer Empire armies are a straight rip-off of the Italian Wars/landsknecht units anyway so you'll be less fearful of copyright infringement that say a non-Chaos/non-Ogre army (which I would also love to see, mind you!) I'd have a look at what Irregular/Baccus and H&R DON'T have, or you think you could better, and go from there. Samurai for example are covered masterly, steer of those. So are most ancients armies. There is however room for more medievals (though I have loads of Baccus and they are a sight to behold!) and nobody does the Italian Wars well. My two cents, anyway, as a new MicroWorld Games fan ![]() |

Well, I haven't purchased anything from you yet, but I think some trolls would be nice for the Orc army, and some kind of monster wyvern/dragon style would be welcome as well. I'd be in for wolf and/or spider riding goblins as well when I finally purchase an army. Your sci fi line boast some very nice looking pieces as well. I will definitely get some at some point ! |

Actually I would quite like some spider riders for our Exodus Wars Legion Auxillia, our Auxillia army is probably a year off getting done so could use some proxies for testing out the army list. Other riders like scorpions, crabs and beetles would be cool too. |

the army of the Firmament sounds interesting. The old 25mm company Dragon Tooth did some interesting fishmen as enemies to the lizardmen. They included riders on large birds. There were sharks as heavy troops and smaller varieties for other roles. The lizardmen included crocodilians as heavy troops. Great range although the detail was poor by todays standards. |

What sort of look would people be interested in for trolls? I've always held off on them because there are a lot of options out there to use in10mm scifi. I already have wolf riders and the orc archers ready to go, but I want to have a few more things ready for them so it can be like a mini-release. I was thinking a boar chariot and a big orc wyvern rider. |
