gotta moulding question AB – do you seal up the gaps/joints between parts with anything before moulding? if so, what/how?

Or is the rubber you use high enough viscosity that it doesn't matter?

Was just thinking that bits of textured plastic sheeting stuck together will have small gaps at the joins between faces.

Like the use of staples!

cheers

Yes.
The actual making takes less time than the gap filling sometimes.
I use green stuff and or milliput to plug/fill the gaps.
Once I am 100% sure all gaps are filled, I then coat in gloss varnish to be sure, letting the varnish settle in the recesses.

The Junker buildings for example, especially the Junker dome took hours to make mould ready.

4th building.
Here we can see a funny door, patterned or force field/holo door, you decide.
Also I have added to this and a previous building the MKII Soper Power Generator, not as quiet or as fancy as the newer models, but solid and reliable and a good bit of kit.

Three more done.
That will do for now I think.

Just need to fill the gaps and add the detail.
Should be ready for sale in about 20 days or so.

Well with the school holidays it could be Friday before I get them finished and into a mould.
Then about 10 days after that.

Soooo very roughly..

10th of June or so...?

Nice touch with the garden AB but i will have to file this of my ones as my occupants do not have/want or would even consider having a roof garden. :)

Now being a badlands resident means the man isn't breathing down your neck, so why not get your favourite tatty armchair, complete with butt groove, stick it on your roof and drink some booze?

Thanks for the pic of the GSing/sealing. Great set of buildings shaping up there.
