Hoorah they are here at least, well almost here...

They will be available as a pack of ramps, 1 of each designed to fit onto the curved and straight sections.
And as a straight section and a curved section.

That way you can mix and match to build the desired shape of landing pad, be it a simple circle:

An oval using a straight section in the middle:

Or a bigger one using 3 straight sections:

They have matching lines that meet up and have teeny landing lights around the edges too.

More OKI goodness, the company that lives to make your life better!

Simple yet nice design! Some detail would not harm, e.g. level hatches protecting power charging caples or hoses etc., but I suppose that this can be added using bits of etched metal according to preferences. Will form a very nice imperial airstrip! Tempted...

Thanks Nitpick!!

"A few extra bits would be nice, even if they came in a separate pack!"

Trouble is though.
After getting the extras sculpted and then making the master mould and production mould you are looking at about £150.00 before I get to cast any.
Assuming I sell them and make £1.00 profit per pack that is over 150 packs I need to sell to simply break even.

It is not likely that I would ever sell 150 packs so whilst it would be cool it could be a total black hole for me..

Well I was actually referring to the kit as is. It could have had features like hatches/hoses/etc sunk into it at the design stage, but that is a very very minor thing. I completely understand that for that very reasonable price I do not get extra bits.

I was not quoting you Nitpick, but rather Rastamann.
No dig/offence/telling off meant!

:D

I did think about gubbins on and in the pads, but OKI like slick and clean.
Now Junker landing pads however....

;)

It is interesting that quite a lot a lot of people have said they would be good as Ork buildings the Junkers ones.

Good job I have Junker walls being made at some point too!

:D

Like those modular pads i will be getting some. Junkers walls will probably be on my list too. Any chance of a junkers hanger/big shed type building for my ork aircraft.

The pads clean rounded look would make good Tau terrain items me thinks.
