How do the doors open? There's not enough space for them to slide apart, you can't push them in since it would reduce container space and they aren't set properly to allow for them to swing out or flip up.

They swing out on motorised articulated arms, using a technology that is currently available.

They do not however float by using some anti-grav technology that does not exist but people still accept within a sci-fi setting.

Like it! You going to keep going with this? I'd love to see some sandbag emplacements, more of your walls, containers and other fun detritus!

My only feedback would be to simply add two little nubbins to the doors that look like handles and call it a day. They are recessed but open outwards. :D

Wow AB, everytime I check out your new postings your releasing something I want. Need to place an order sooner rather then later. Great stuff.

They all come about as I am imagining the game world of Kometenmelodie and think about things that I would want in my games.
Until now I had been using N Gauge shipping containers, which are fine but very today.
Hence a clearly alternate shipping container was needed.
I will be doing barrels and crates too in the near future.

I have lots of things planned that are not game winners like the popular mega tanks and killer infantry (though don't mess with the RDF) but are more things that add character to the table top.

I have a mini project called 'junkers' that is in the pipeline too which I am quite excited about.
But that is nothing more than in my mind right now...

Here are a few stacked up ready for transporting.

I will also be making available a set of steps and walkways that will fit around these incase anyone wants to use them as sort of dwelling complex.
The downside is that flakworms like to hide in the gaps, but then so do junkers so who can blame them...

Those look great (although i do agree with Vaaish about the doors :D ) steps and walkways should prove very popular as well i'd imagine.

Got my "containers" this morning, thanks, Michael they are spot on. The casting is of high quality and I'm already thinking of repurposing mine as Agri-pods. I'll post about them on my blog in due course (don't hold your breath though, I'm a slow painter).

Glad you got them ok. sorry for the delay, even taking into account the house move I ended up being a bit sicky and in bed for 2 days so they were even slower.

Just saw your blog, can you e-mail me please?
I have a proposition..

ooerrr!
