Okay, two questions on unit construction: First Question: Page #59 for the note for Troop Bay Construction it lists in the notes as "More than one allowed. All points totaled into a single system" My question to this is may I purchase multiple troop bays and pay only 2 Structure Points? Or does it merely allow me to purchase multiple bays at a cost of 2 structure points each? Second Question: Just after the Notes section for system selection (page #59) it states "Reduce the number of System points used by a system by one (to a minimum of one System Point) for each Tech Level of the force higher than the system’s listed Tech Level." Now, if I have a TL5 force, and I am going to install the system Linked Fire Control, do I reduce the System Points cost by 2? |

And some answers...  1. They would be totaled as a single entry on a unit data card (ex: Troop Bays [4]) after having paid the cost and SP requirements for each of the four troop bays. 2. If Linked Fire Control used more than one SP, it would be reduced by two points as you describe. As LFC uses only a single SP to begin with, no reduction in the SP is called for, as 1SP is the (stated) minimum for any system. Make Sense? |
