Are there any lists out there where Squat formations can be taken without the "plus transport" rule?
I want to play my Squats as a slow, defensive, gun-line style. To my mind, this is how Space Dwarfs should be. I know I can just leave the transports at home, but we're still paying for them, and it seems like that makes the play style none-viable. I assume this rule was copied over from the Space Marine list, but at least to my mind it makes more sense for the highly mobile Astartes than for Squats. Moles and Termines definitely do bring that diggydiggyhole vibe, but I would still like to be fielding most of my Squats on foot.
So does anyone know if there is a lists where formations can be paid for without transports, or any plans to make one? Even better would be the option for fortifications like the Siege Masters list.
