As several of you have noticed things have been quiet on the Squat front for a while. With this in mind and having accepted that Moscovian has had to step down I now open up the Squat AC role for nominations. Please message me your application and feel free to raise your hand here as well. I would ask for a short set of comments as to how and where you see the list progressing. If you do not see the need for any changes that is fine as the task will then be to push for Acceptance. |

Unusual timing! My local group just last weekend pushed me forward to "be more active on Taccoms" and "lend what help you can to get those Sqauts approved." I may be only a short time poster, but I have been a long time lurker and an even long time Squat player, my army was originally bought new fresh from GW in '92. I've only really started posting as I saw how quiet it had been around here and wanted to inject some enthusiasm. I'll put forward my candidacy to help bring the Squats home. I feel I have the energy and enthusiasm to bring in more players (I have convinced three new players to start with the Space Dwarves) as well as the understanding of the complexity of the rules (have worked in game and system design and was involved in the process of bringing along the Blood Bowl Living Rule Book some years back). Personally I agree a lot with the current philosophy behind the list as brought forward by Moscovian, Tim and others - That real 'feel' of the 2nd edition while still remaining an interesting, balanced modern army. It probably needs only the tiniest of work to 'bring it home' - most likely the perennial bugbear of AA. *Gives a dirty look at the Thunderfires* I'm not here to make any pet changes. I think the only real thing missing from the Squat community is enthusiasm. This sub is relatively silent, and most new players post once or twice, and then wander off. I think the reason why this army list is not approved is not the list itself, but we simply have not got enough momentum among the squat players here. That would be my input as AC, producing constant encouragement within the sub itself - more topics of discussion, tactics articles, painting guides. We sorely need a collecting guide too - one of the things most new players struggle with is how to collect squats - how many of which figure on which base and such. I few of my regular opponents are AC's on other armies and are happy to attest and are happy to post a reference or two. Tim, I'll PM you more |

Elsaurio, love the enthusiasm. While I'd like to stick my hand up for this afraid I probably don't have the time to commit what is required to be AC (especially alongside running the London league). However, Mark W and I have done a lot of work, play testing, and thinking on how the 1.5 could be finalised. We'd love to share that with whoever takes the role. Could really help get things rolling. Love the idea of a collecting forum, especially with the sad demise of steel crown. |

Elsaurio would be a great choice for AC. I've known him for a long time and no matter what game system he plays, his knowledge and tactics are always at a very high level. |

I'd also like to vouch for Elsaurio. As a local Squat player he was extremely helpful with both the collecting of my army and tactics/general squat talks. He is a very creative yet decisive and logical gamer with a strong knowledge of the game and the current Squat Developmental List. Hes pretty much everything Id like to see in a Taccoms AC. |

Gentlemen, please welcome Elsaurio to the role of Squat Army Champion. He is tasked with pushing the list to Accepted status and I hope there will be lots of playtesters to help him. |
