So, you may remember me from that post (http://the-responsible-one.blogspot.co.uk/2013/04/salute-2013-troublemaker-games-resource.html) where I rambled on about my wife having bought a bunch of Troublemaker stuff.

I got a bunch of her undercoating done over the bank holiday weekend (http://the-responsible-one.blogspot.co.uk/2013/05/how-my-bank-holiday-went.html), and she's also made a couple of posts about her experiences prepping the models.

She was a teensy bit nervous about me giving y'all the link to the second post as she wasn't totally positive about some of the models, but I figured you'd all be lovely and not too mean to her about it.

Sorry about that, we had a flawed batch lof tripods got sold - we are replacing the mould and I'll get some free replacements sent out to you when they're ready.

Wow, that's excellent customer service! I'll mail you privately with our details to sort it out. Sim (the wife) is similarly impressed.

She says that once we get the replacements, she'll turn the miscasts into some "wrecked Martian Tripod" scenery, and will send you half the scenery we make out of them. That should look good on the display boards.

;D

I think the Troublemaker lads will back me up in saying that the wife is anything but little. She is very tall.

:)

No problem - we're only sorry that we didn't notice this casting flaw sooner.
Earlier tripod batches from this company were fine but having checked some recently have looked like the dog chewed them. :-/
Think I'll use a different company for the next lot!
