Hi,
Have been painting some epic again after some time away from this excellent hobby... Like many others Im rather interested in the new options for a sisters of battle army. But I dont play 40K and have only a vague idea about how the units are supposed to be like. Id like to start with some basic units like regular sisters w rhinos, jumppack seraphim and some troops with heavy weapons. Regarding the latter, dominion seem to be the better option as they have AT weapons. But miniatures wise, how would I go about distinguishing dominion units from retributors? I imagine they would be represented using stands with 3 (or more) out of 5 w/hvy weapons, per stand. But in 6mm scale I would think it quite difficult telling them apart. Or is there any other obvious difference that Im not aware of?
Thankful for any tips on this, as the sisters would be a great army to collect!

Dominions are the specialist weapon (flamer/meltagun) squads. 2 specialist weapons and 3 regular nuns ought to cut it. I also think they always game with transports in 40k (not sure if that held in the fluff).
Retributors the same, except with heavy weapons (heavy flamer/multi-melta) instead.

The needs if quickly identifying the units on the tabletop at 6mm taking priority over any fluff based concerns with model selection, I'd go with (actually I went with as I've got 5k worth of Italian and Beef eating sisters stashed away for the future):
Retributors: Three figures to a base, all heavy weapons Dominions: Five sisters, 2 or 3 with heavy weapons as appropriate to your collection
In addition I'd also suggest using some common color variation that the units share. For instance, all Retributors have red accents on their weapons, Dominions have White pages paints arms.
Do what works for you but as long as its easy to explain I'm sure its kosher

Right, now I get the idea... The problem then becomes the specialist weapons, they will have to be conversions - not my strongest area Im afraid, but Ill have to give it a go I guess...
EDIT: Good point Jimmyz; sounds like a good solution plus I can aviod the conversion problem!
