What model do you use for "Gun-Cutter"? And why no Eversors?

Was browsing through the lists and noticed the rules for Gun Cutters - I'm guessing someone was a fan of Eisenhorn by Dan Abnett (me, too).

Also, the cool Assassin models and story was one of the reasons I got into 40K back in the day. But there's only Vindicare rules for Epic? Why?

DRM has two nice models I think might work for gun cutters:

For Assassins in have you looked at the wide range of infantry figures from Steel Crown/Exodus Wars[just go to the online store link] http://www.steelcrowngames.com/ or DRM http://www.darkrealmminiatures.co.uk/st ... .php?cat=2 or CinC http://www.pfc-cinc.com/solar_empire_marines.html ? All 3 have sniper models as well ...

Perhaps one of the Ordos lists might. I haven't spent much time outside of Zombos sisters list. Assassins seem pretty abstracted at this time

Was looking for the Epic rules. But I guess not. Thanks for the Gun-Cutter models, look good.

I think all the Inquisition lists have the option of Death Cult assassins. I always think of modelling them as the kind you ask of instead.

There were experimental rules for them at some time, but those rules were generally viewed as being too detailed for the game's level of abstraction. IIRC they were one-shot-tricks.

The death cult assassins are just glorified melee henchmen really. Meh.

I guess single-model units aren't really an Epic 40k thing

That kind of thing tends to be a character upgrade to a stand - Eldar Exarchs, Guard Commissars, Space Marine Chaplains, Librarians, Chaos Lords, etc.
