I'm confused with the link....anyone else understand?  Netepic?  I saw your name as a credit on the bottom.  You have some more info maybe?  Cuz the screenshot looks cool.

Wow, I am credited even though I didn't do anything... I think they mean they borrowed the stats from the EPICentre...

Would have been nice if we had received email notification :O, I know nothing about any of this.

I didn't mean to be rude. I'm only using the stats because I'm too lazy to type them off printed cards. I wasn't claiming I invented them. The Army Builder on my site will support multiple rulesets, not just NetEpic. Your site was the most convenient source, and I thank you for that.

Let me know if there's some way I can return the favour.

NP, as long as I know about it, it is all good :).

The credit down the bottom was much appreciated.

Okay, site works now.  Interesting.  I looked on the Moddatabase and it was listed, so maybe worth a look.

You should email him as well, that way he will have two chances to see your request.

I have.

If he had bothered to ask first, I probably would have said yes.

I have PM'd Jimbo regarding the Baneblade but I want to clear this up publicly since i'm begining to look like some kind of rip-off artist.

I took the stats for the Epic Legions Army Generator from NetEpic, since it looked like a community project (NetEpic that is, not the site) and I didn't think anyone would mind since my army builder is free. It saved my a lot a typing and hassles for GW legal department.

I took the baneblade from a photo on Felixs miniatures page, cut around it with The Gimp and posted it to spruce up an otherwise boring page. I tried to find Felix's email address or some kind of 'contact us' link but found none. I looked very hard for it but eventually gave up.

I never expected my page to generate much traffic before the next redesign (which would have used actual game models.) As it was I finished Epic Legions ALPHA weeks ahead of plan and before our 3D modellers had any finished work. The Demo, the Army Generator and my Modder's Guide have brought hundreds of hits to the site - even though I've only listed it on four sites.

So to put it simply I AM grateful for both the picture and the NetEpic list (which i've finally manged to convert to pure html) and I'm sorry you were both so put out.

On a related note. I'm looking for contributions of fan art for the site. I especially like charcoal and pencil sketches like the ones in White Dwarf and the Codexs. 3D models or textures for Epic units also greatly appreciated for the game itself.

PM me on this board if you're interested.

--edit-- One of the Epic Legions modellers has asked for a pic of a Reaver Titan's back. Anyone know of one?

Thank you for removing the image so promptly.

You now have my permission to use it if you so wish, but in return I would like a link back to my pages, aka:

BaneBlade picture provided by Felix, www.ifelix.co.uk, image is Copyright Felix's Gaming Pages

Cheers

I know I sound like some kind of Record Company Executive, but I have invested a lot of time and money into my photograph collection and if one person feels they can "borrow" my images then everyone thinks it's okay.

In this example, SpliFF had a community site, but in the past I have had people use my images to sell their models. In other words they made money from my images.

So basically I come down hard on everyone.

As for the e-mail contact link it is on the editorial page, and anything (AT) ifelix.co.uk gets to me anyway.

Cheers

Thank you both for your understanding, and thanks for the offer of images. Funnily enough the site actually looks better since I took the baneblade off and it's given me some more space for the content.

The Felix Miniatures Gallery would be an excellent resource for Epic Legion's 3D modellers since they do not necessarily have miniatures at home (some of which are no longer being made). My modelling page will carry a link to your gallery using one of the banners you provided on your site.

You also helped me clarify the legal issues regarding GW content so I've taken the time to place a disclaimer on my site in line with Games Workshop's fan-site policy.

I'm so used to open-source projects (I also hack Linux, Mozilla) that I sometimes forget these things.
