If you had a Leman Russ in your sights, immobilised and you wanted to blow it up - what would be the most powerful anti-tank weapon in the EPIC arsenal. Not we are looking for the most effective way of destroying ONE tank and whatever weapon you use you only get one shot with it  .

Plasma Annhilator... ?  ?..Perhaps a bit too big for one tank.  ..Maybe a Shadowsword Volcano Cannon would be a little less overkill... |

Hi! There are many "real big" weapons that could fry a tank easily. The real question is if it is cost effective for you to use it? Volcano cannons, deathstrikes and plasma annihilators pretty much kill everything they hit, but is it worth using such a weapon for just "one" tank? I would say no. Weapons like the turbo-laser, plasma bastgun or even the land raiders twin-linked lascannon are cheap, but effective anti-tank weapons. I'd use any of those for a battle. Primarch |

Most effect ove weapon in the Epic universe: Tube charge. Walk up to the tank outside of its LoS/fire arcs and place on vulnerable spot and you've got yourself one dead tank. Epic game: Imperial tank destroyer? It'll cream the tank, it's not too much overkill and it will then lie in wait for its next unlucky victim. Jackhammer |

Well a lot is going to depend on what version or set of rules you play. ?However, I've always found a Devestator or Hvy Wpns stands properly deployed in a covered position works just fine ... but I am of course biased !  ?And a general battlefield rule is "the best way to kill a tank is another tank ..." ?
