Ok before I post the battle report a quick poll on how long do you think the battle lasted?
(12 warlords vs 2 imperators with troops and some knights)

Yep it was A

And only 6 warlords had fired. They were armed with 2 x barrage missile launchers and 2 x volcano cannons, the barrage launchers took 1 - 4 shields each hit and then the volcano cannons even with a 2D6 save roll just took their toll. Mind impulse units fried on both and over they went
With both having troops they scored my oponent 30 points for each one!!

My 2 imperators with a Titan defence company and a support detachment on each and a single knight errant detachment. Facing 12 warlord titans.





I rolled 6 and 7 plasma for my imperators, not great and thinking i powered up fire control and overcharged the shields (3 plasma) and put rest into the plasma anhilator and saved one in each reactor.

Looking at board my anhilator was in range of enemy titans but my support troops fell short. And as only my troops on first fire I had to watch as the enemy warlords opened up.

the 6 he had on first fire had 2 x barrage missile launchers and 2 volcano cannons each.
In placing his barrages he was able to place 4 over a single imperator so i was loosing 1 - 4 shields each barrage weapon and by end of 2nd warlord my shields had gone on one imperator and the last volcano cannons blasted in killing the mind impulse units

So after 3 warlords he had already destroyed one imperator and painfully it happened all over again for my 2nd imperator

After 3 battles with 2 wins and the damage i had inflicted in them, it has all been reset to roughly even as was a huge material lose for me this battle.
