hello all, i wasnt too sure where to post this, so i thought here was as good a place as any. I recently painted up two small forces for some games set during the horus heresy, i made up some very simple rules for my two kids, and we had a battle last night. ![]() Emperors Children predator gets knocked out on turn 1! yep, everything was home made, just a bit of fun for the lads. your right it is how we all started out, well apart from maybe lining up airfix figures in the garden and chucking bricks at them...... |

You would be surprised just how many of us started with similar 'wargames' made up by ourselves with plastic toy soldiers and toy bricks that were used to 'create damage' ![]() |

Some of them might actually still be good for proxies. |
