Post subject:  Epic Space Marine 2 - Contents?
First post! Although I signed up ages ago and have been lurking on and off for ages. Anyway, down to business.

Been collecting Epic for ages. I used to have a big collection, but over two years ago I flogged off pretty much my entire collection because I was moving house (I've regretted it ever since!) I'm slowly building my collection back up again and have managed to aquire an incomplete Space Marine 2nd edition box on the cheap.

What I want to know is: Is there or does anyone know the complete inventory of counters, playsheets, etc that came in the box (excluding the miniatures). I haven't been able to find a reliable source with a complete list and the photo at the back of the box isn't much help.

It's the first edition box shown but the contents seem to be the second edition version as it's got xenos in their as well.  The original only had Marines from what I remember.

Ah ha ha! Thanks muchly! I hadn't though of boardgamegeek.com! Though, could someone give me more details on the compesition of the 57 epic army cards?

Also, since I'm after inventories, does anyone have any information on the following Epic boxes (minus miniatures):

Space Marine 1st Edition
Adeptus Titanicus
Titan Legions

I seem to remember the 2 1st edition games had legions of cards and templates in them and I can't find much info on boardgamegeek.com...

Personally I play 4th edition (Epic: Armageddon), at least partially because you don't have to deal with all those cards... I probably have 500-odd old first edition cards packed away in a cupboard though.

This would be off the top of my head but cards were something like this:

Marines:

Tactical company (2-3 cards)
Land raider Company (1-2)
Warlord Titan (1)
Terminator squadron (1-2)
Devastators (1-2)
Assault marines (1-2)
Veterans (1-2)
Tactical Marins (3-4)

Orks:
1 of each Klan (goffs,moonz, deathskullz, snakebitez, sunz)
Freebooterz special card
Battlewagon squadron (4-5)
Weirdboy Tower,
Lungbursta squadron
Gutrippa Squadron

Eldar:
Warhost (2)
Exarchs
Harlequins
Warlock
1 Of each aspect (hawks, scorpions, banshees, dragons, reapers, avengers)
Guardian formation (3-4)
Can't remember if there were cards for WAve Srpents and Jetbikes as well.

Thanks for the welcome as well as the help in getting the contents. It's nice to be able to get a proper breakdown of the contents as there doesn't appear to be proper resources anywhere. It'll help when it comes to collecting the sets (which are frequently incomplete) from places like ebay etc.


As for the army cards - they could be a pain but I always found them handy when playing - speeds up army selection and provides a handy quick reference on moral and whatnot.

For AT and TL, I probably won't be able to give you an exact inventory of counters, but I should be able to give a count of pretty much everything else.
