Okay, so I bought the squadron command frame (this thing) and now I'm just confused. Where is the Eldar part supposed to go? it doesn't seem to fit securely to any place on a falcon body. What am I missing? I found a picture from the cover of the cloudstrike squadron box set (the 3 falcon box released for apocalypse) and the location it shows for the part doesn't make any sense. Does the part just get glued on where-ever? Can anyone help me out? |

In short, yes, it goes where ever. Most of them seem to go on the side of the fuselage, but I've never gone and used any of mine, just the IG ones. |

Yeah, there is that. Note to self: Check suitability of Eldar components as Epic objectives... |

Before I actually held the part, I figured that it must fit onto some groove, indention, or projection on the falcon hull, but it doesn't. It's so frustrating - having a part that just attaches where-ever is okay for the slab-sided imperial vehicles, but it just looks goofy on the compound curves of the falcon. As usual, GW puts the absolute minimum amount of effort into the CW eldar parts. But that's okay, I'm sure when they re-do the range again we'll get a fourth version of each of the aspect warrior models. |
