Not nearly as 'glorious' as you might think.........this is really OLD base/wash/drybrush sort of painting, just with GW's regular urge to sell you some paint washes etc etc.
Base: Old BA orange+GoFasta Red...washed with 'red' ink overall..highlites of 'orange/yellow/white....
What your really seeing is a base of 'Terracota' washed dark-red and hi-lited back through to orange-red/terracotta again.
I'll see about getting some scans, but as usual, it's more like what your puter generates than what I post.......
Obviously, there's no fkn way I'm selling anything from my 'archieval collection' LOL......Tho I seem to remember that the pix your looking for came out in the 40k compendium, eh?
