I have had a few games of 3 edition space hulk today at my local store and got talking to a friend about a large hulk campaign, including other gribblies (such as lictors) However once I gothome I remembered that in the PC version of space hulk you played the first few missions as a terminator armoured inquisitor. Was this just a computer game add on, or where the =][= ever in space hulk (or one of its add ons). I'm thinking of getting inquisitor Rex from forgeworld to use as an =][= in home made games, but I would like to know of any existing rules for them beofre I start making up wacky rules for him. |

I think they may well have been, though my memory is vague. I'll have the WDs somewhere. |

I am sure that there was a WD article with details of an Inquisitor and bodyguard squad... Maybe with the rules for Traitor Terminators? (Or, I am just getting old!) |

I don't recall any rules for Inquisitors, only Grey Knights. There may have been a White Dwarf I missed, of course. Mind you, the awesome old Inquisitor in Terminator armour model with the psycannon dates back to that time, so maybe. |

There were no rules for Inquisitors in Space Hulk to the best of my knowledge, the closest thing you had was a Grey Knight Captain! |

No mention in the rulebooks; and the WD articles were compiled in the campaign book, which again did not include Inqs. But Lord Inquisitor is right (well he should be, given his name! ![]() |

Thanks for the replies. Must have just been in the PC computer game. I'll just make up my own rules. |

"I'm thinking of getting inquisitor Rex from forgeworld to use as an =][= in home made games, but I would like to know of any existing rules for them beofre I start making up wacky rules for him." (Ragnarok) Methinx not as such, but......... [[Old Fluff.... "The only group outside of the Index Astartes Space Marines who have access to Terminator armour are Inquisitors. The Ordo Malleus wing of the Inquisition possesses its own Terminator suits used by its chamber militant - the Grey Knights. Consequently the organisation does have the knowledge, components and skills to equip its non-Marine servants – but only if their mission is important and their influence strong. Indeed, the Ordo Malleus jealously guards its knowledge from its sister Ordos: Xenos and Hereticus, as a consequence of the secret struggles and vendettas that plague these supposedly companion institutions. Therefore Inquisitors dressed in Terminator armour are almost exclusively Daemon hunters. Like the Grey Knight’s suits, Malleus Inquisitors’ armour is highly decorated and sports a vast array of ward sigils, reliquaries and charms to fend of the infernal threats they face. Psychic apparatus is often incorporated, and weapons might include the rarest examples of Psycannons, Force Rods and Combi-Weapons. Indeed, some Inquisitors have been known to include their most precious Jokaero digital weapons into their suit’s arsenal."]] ............... http://homepages.ihug.com.au/~tezzajw/ (Expanding the Hulk) contains stats for GK figures....My thought is that an 'Inquisitor' can easily be created, depending on your view of what said Inquisitor would work out to stat-wise, eh? I'm thinking that the ver 3 SH is quite close to what Tezza is doing as ver 1 rules, so the site should be of interest to all that have never seen it...... Just a thought, eh? |
