Hmmmm, Daemons.  I'm doing an all T.sons army.  And looked at the Daemons available.  They aren't that good.  At least I dont think so.

I'd rather have more T.sons, than Horrors and flamers.  They dont look brilliant either.  Though I always change my mind when I see minis in real life.

Also, with such a small army that T.sons are, I dont think its wise to have a third of your models off the board.  I need them shooting from turn one!!!

So far my army looks like this (the ones with * are what I already have bought)

Lord on disc with loads of gubbins = 210pts*

5 Chosen termies, all sorcerers.  1 reaper autocannon 4 BOC. 300+pts

9 T.sons (one sorcerer with power weapon doombolt)250ish pts*

9 T.sons (one sorcerer with DB and wind of change, familiar) 250ish points

6 horrors 3 flamers 150ish pts

1 Dread with plamsa cannon and mutated hull 145pts

And thats it!!!!!!!  :o   I may have some points left over (about 100 I think)  but it wont buy me much.

Are you buying a FW dread, and are you converting your terminators?

Maybe with the left over points you could buy a rhino or two?

Cheers

Chris

Hmm, Shadow Hunter, for your Thousand Sons, when you take a good look at the new Horrors, then I think you will definatly want some- in my opinion they are great- really surreal, horrible, twisted things, far better than the old ones I reckon.. :)

I'm gonna buy a forge world dread.

The termies I'm not sure what to do yet.  I haven't bought them yet, so I'm still open to suggestions.

I suppose I could get a rhino or two.  The main weakness fo the army, I think, will be when I face armies with ordanance weapons (like guard with two Russes). They would wipe 50% of my army with one or two shots.

Why not get a preadator or a Land Raider for your army, sure you may have to replace something, but you will have a good heavy support.

Cheers

Just went in to my local store today. I asked about the Ultramarines and Blood Angles thing. He said it was all bull, and I trust him, because he isn't a new guy, he was there the first time I ever went into GW!!!

With the Blood Angles, why would they turn to Chaos when they are angry with Chaos after Horus killed there Primarch?

And with Ultramarines, he basically said that they are too fer from the Eye Of Terror to be even included!!

But he did say to watch out for Space Wolves...

Cheers

The thing with the Wolfen is that they have some Chaos armour to replace there own, because they have been in the eye of terror for like 10,000 years.

With there armour though, it is hard to tell on the battlefield if they are good or evil. So what are they?

Cheers

I think they are good, but utterly ruthless and savage, a la BA Death Company.... And I believe they use Chaos weapons an stuff they've found in the Eye to replace their damaged stuff... SMs with deamon swords etc.. **nice** :;):

The way the GW guy hinted is that the Wolfen are maybe here to bring the Space Wolves with them.

He also said to only believe 25% of what you here on the internet in rumours.

Cheers

Woooops, meant to add a bit more here.

Basically, to him the rest is utter crap. I once heard that the Emperor is really Horus!!! Now you know what i mean by crap.

Cheers

Reading the conversation between Logan Grimmnar and a Rune Priest in the new WD kinda sets the scene I thought....
