Quote (primarch @ 13 Dec. 2005 (20:49)) | Hi!
One thing is 40k squats, another epic squats. I can see eliminating them from 40k, but why in epic where they eliminated if they worked fine?

I heard that GW doesn't want a race in Epic that doesn't appear in 40k also. So, since Squats were eliminated from 40k, they were also eliminated from epic.
I agree with you, P, they worked just fine in epic. It's another reason why I'm sick of the 40k tail wagging the Epic dog.
EDIT: Wow, I didn't expect to get promoted until 1500. I'm now a Captain.

Hey! Not all 40k guys are bad. I would have never found Epic if it were not for 40k!
Now, it's back to the Epic Chapter-building for me. Only $400 in infantry, plus another ~$1000 in transports. The painful thing is all the air support. 40 thunderhawks + a couple dozen Landing Craft is just too painful (shudders at GW's prices for big stuff).
Unfortunately, I don't have much to start from, so I might as well start from scratch.
