So I have been blessed with a lovely wife who gave me a 3D printer for my birthday. I've played around with it a little, and the quality is decent, but not at the level for most miniatures.
I'm wondering what is out there that I can print instead for the 6mm space?
I assume it will be almost exclusively terrain, which is fine by me.
Would people here want to turn this thread into a resource thread for lower quality 3d printing for 6mm and other scales?

Hi! i'm also started experimenting with printing, and I found quite a large catalogue on Thingiverse etc. of free to print stuffs. With a 0.4 Nozzle I managed to do a good-ish Baneblade, and a passable tiny Leman russ. Otherwise, all kinds of terrain can, as you said, be printed. There are even two really nice sets of Tyranid terrain kits out there! Anything you want can be downsized in your slicer to fit Epic. I have a good FDM printer with Olsson block, that let's me change the nozzle, and the smallest I got ATM is 0.25mm, and it produces decent vehicules in epic scale. I will in the future get those expensive supertiny ones, the smallest is a tenth of a millimeter! And then we'll see what the limit is!
You want me to link to certain groups or items on Thingiverse, give me a shout!

Sorry for the slow reply.
Yeah, it'd be great to see what you've found. I could post things here to and perhaps build a resource.
I think I will still focus mostly on terrain, but anything that can be viably printed at around that nozzle size for 6mm interests me.
Look forward to what you found.
