I have a couple of 3cm or so long pieces from an expensive multi-part model I’d like a single set of duplicates made for a conversion. There’s no commercial purpose and the pieces would be utterly useless to anyone else. Anyone got resin casting gear and be willing to do this for cash?
They’re a curved shape with recessed detail so not viable for greenstuff casting. I could buy another one of the models for £65 to get the second set of two small pieces but 95% of the kit would be entirely useless to me (and of low resale value with missing core pieces) so I’m hoping it might work out cheaper to pay someone? I don’t really know the time / materials cost in resin casting so perhaps not. I want to paint the model up in Feb so I’d want it done soonish.

If you don't need a high detail level(unlikely, but anyway) you could look for someone who could 3D print it for you.

Thanks but I think I've figured out an alternate way to do it after all myself using multiple green stuff moulds.
The piece is curved with recesses so not do-able as a whole piece, but I think I could maybe do a green-stuff mould of one third section of it and just make more copies to fill up the rest of the curved wall of the mobile research station. I don't know if I could get the latin text at the bottom to cast but if not I could do without that bit.

Try contacting Michael from Angel Barracks , I know he used to do limited resin casts for folks, can't say how much he would charge for it though.
Cheers, Stroezie.

That definitely looks press mouldable (I'd try it in one section) and the text should come out. If you need flexibility in the mould, make it from sculpy mould making stuff with with regular ss
