Hi guys, For a while now I've been working on my ship designs and some of them are in the process of being cast. However, since I'd like this to be a more 'complete' kit, I need flight stands, and a lot of them. Been looking around here and there, but I seem to be only able to find hexagonal ones, and I would really like those 30mm round ones you see on the BFG models. However, I can't really buy them from GW, so does anybody know where I could get some standard ones that I could order in bulk? Thanks a lot! |

I assume you mean buy them from GW cheaply Best bet I figure is eBay and FB / forum trade groups. Somene at SG forums had shown off a resin base they were thinking of selling. Same dimension as the GW clear ones but had the addition of quadrant points on them. Not sure whatever happened with those....I know you're a member there too so might make sense to poke them. |

Hmm, I'm not looking for the GW bases themselves, but just small round flight bases. I see a lot of companies selling hexagonal ones, but kinda hoped for round ones to be on the market as well. |

Would clear square ones work? If so, can you cut up a sheet of Perspex to suit? |

Yep, I know Litko is sometimes expensive, and I don't know what an average round flight stand costs. I just wanted to make sure the option was known. Back in the early '90's I had about $3000 dollars worth of epic stuff. In '90's dollar value. Sold it in 2000 for $1400 dollars. I could probably retire now if I still had it. Gettin' back in as of 2014. Trying to do it on the cheap with proxies and such. But as they say: Sometimes ya gotta pay to play.  Pat |

Almost forgot, Lathan Montgomery at http://www.burnindesigns.net/ might custom make the for you if you want a large quantity or even less. His products are good quality and usually very reasonable. Go to his site and drop him a line: he's really easy to deal with. Pat |
