Any interest in some plastic trenches for a future TMG project?

It'd be a low risk & low cost project, unlike our ever-delayed infantry & IFV's sprue.

We could probably do a set of 30 trenches (2.4 metres of trench) & 10 corner pieces for about £20.

Um, yep.

A complete system of mutually compatible plastic (which hopefully translates to cheap) roads, building tiles etc exists in my dream world too.

I like the concept and think this would be a big win but I'd rather see something a little less like the old FW defenses for a few of reasons.
1. The further you distinguish this from existing products, even ones OOP, the better you position TMG products in the market.
2. The greater the difference the less likely you'll attract the attention of Grandma Wendy. Of course that doesn't mean you're infringing on anything but they've got a legion of lawyers on staff and they can basically outspend you. It's not worth the hassle. As 6mm lines grow, many slotting into general archetypes that are directly applicable to proxy certain factions, the more likely they'll launch a spoiling attack out of spite.
3. There's already a line of products that produce something similar to this look and feel and another under design. I'd rather go with a version that works a bit different. For instance, actual tranches versus the barricade style we see here.

anyways just my 2cents

They look awesome but aren't they missing millions of skulls?!

Y'know, I think I'm yet to put any decorative skulls on any TMG models. How weird.

Indeed! Everyone knows you have to have hundreds of skulls on your models before they become cool. ::) :)

Now that's a conundrum.

I agree but specifically I think a modular Fortress/Castle/Hive City structure would be more in need and more unique. Large walls, with different access gates, wall weapons and defensive things would be cool. Like Jimmy said defensive walls have been done by others but true not plastic.

I'd buy a few metres of this, for sure.

Will see about doing a design, it'd be more expensive than trenchworks I think though.

A hive city or massive defence walls would be awesome but I'm happy with trenches as a start point, hopefully some bunkers aswell?

I'm sure Broken Bayonette would have killed for this ! Perhaps a launch tie in with next years Exeter Entrenchment. I'd be interested in basic trench and pos the other things - but 2.4m seems a bit excessive even if the price is low. Could you half the set size or include bunkers/emplacements (I know it's more tools = more cost.)

I guess the trench kit could be a nice basis, perhaps the "wall kit" would simply be a construct on which you could place the trench on, turning it into a wall of a sorts.
