In case you've missed it, go here and put some cash down.
http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/6mm-s ... /x/3280652

Here's why.

Crowd funding campaigns are pretty common for minitures now. Slightly less so for 6mm, we're still playing catch-up.

This isn't a big campaign. This isn't Ogre by Steve Jackson, this isn't Dreadball or Deadzone by Mantic Games. They had a dedicated PR team, snazzy graphics, a huge following already and raised hundred of thousands of pounds from a similar number of people.

This campaign isn't that. At the moment, 31 people have put money down. Another 27 people will see it funded. This is a rare situation where your contribution actually makes a hell of a difference. You, on your own, grabbing the cheapest pledge, will make that needle move further than your entire history of spending at GW did for Epic.

And at the end of it, you have toys to play with and a new source of toys for others. What's not to like?

Hear hear – and I'd implore you to pledge even if you don't have immediate use for these models.

Why?
1) The cheapest pledge will currently give you two small armies with which to demonstrate games and help spread your hobby.

2) They're cool little models in their own right, usable in loads of environments.

3) If this is successful, models that appeal more to you are more likely.

4) Your donation will help to make the final sprues packed with cool different models.

Help spread the word! You might consider including the link in your signature for any fora you post upon, or simply showing your support by commenting on other places, such as:

I pledged both for personal gain (going to start playing alien humanoids, need alot of infantry!) and to support Troublemaker Games who together with onslaught is saving our game!!
And i will continue to support every 6mm project that Ben puts out there because I know it will benefit the hobby and also be very cool looking figs!!

In strict fairness: Dark Realm Miniatures, Exodus Wars, Scotia Grendel AND Troublemaker Games AND Onslaught (in age order, I think).

But yeah, I will need dozens and dozens of hulking aliens for future projects, and a supply of plastic humans is always useful too.
