Decided finally pledge (need to unlock those Cybershadows!). Slightly confused by indigogo. If I want multiple pledges (say the tanks and the bombers) do I have to pay for them individually, paying via paypal for each pledge, rather than adding them to a cart and paying once? If so, is this also true if I wanted to make the same pledge twice (say two groups of tanks)?

Yep. Eac h pledge is individual, and can be made multiple times.

Thanks for the support!

New today, we've opened up "six half sprue" Pledges... so now for a moderate extra fee that covers the cost of our potential pile of dead stock (plus labour of snipping up the sprues), you can get just the Aliens or the Humans.

Looking forward to hearing what's in line for the human side. As the Aliens are looking at a leader, heavy weapon and the extra gobbers, I'm hoping we can get similar options for the humans too (extra pose, even if just mirrored, and a heavy weapon).

Don't forget, we're likely some way off paying for all the extra Alien sculpts as it is - we're hoping to hear back from the factory soon on where we stand there.

I may let the crowdfunder run without further stretch goals now until the end, in order to get as much profit as possible for affording the extra poses.

Without goals it won't run very far. You need to at least explain at what point this or that pose will be added.

Of course. :-)

Even if you're not releasing new models, you should still be placing stretch goals of the form :
$XXXXX = Hulking Alien with potato masher added to sprue
$YYYYY = Kneeling Human rifelman added to sprue

People pick the bits they like, and are much more likely to contribute as it nears their favorite, rather then everyone playing 'wait and see' and no money being raised for the stuff they're waiting for.

As said above, of course.

But I can't give hard figures until the factory gives us the final quotes.

Lets hope for a final rush when the figures come.

Just as a thought - is it worth putting up the stretch goals based on worst case in the meantime to maintain momentum? I can't imagine people will mind if the targets are revised down later.

If I had to guess, the worst case is probably something like:

£7000 Gobblers added
£8000 Alien leaders added
£9000 Alien heavy weapons trooper added
£10000 Human missile trooper added

Best case finishes around £8k, and we've already achieved some of the extra poses.

It depends on what mix of plastics & metals are bought as we head towards those stretch goals, too. If everyone buys plastics, those figures might nudge down. If everyone buys metals, you could easily add another £2k.

If we added a "Riflemen" Pledge that doesn't give much product (perhaps just a unique Pledge-only leader figure) and all the remaining funds came in through that, then we could likely cut the distance to travel by 40%.

Why gobblers first? I've already pledged for them in metal. It's leaders and human missile launchers that are most pressing.

I concur. Since gobblers are the only coordinated infantry available in metal, making them a priority on the plastic sprue seems counter productive.
