maybe you could host some sort of database of people looking to trade out one side or the other, see if you can split them off from one side or the other (no need to mirror or introduce new manufacturing, just spend an hour or two with a pair of clippers)
maybe add a different pledge and charge a bit extra per box, to cover any possible leftovers of one side and the added work.

Any decision on whether or not you'll do the "rifleman" investment option?

I want to ask wether these items will be available beside this kickstarter. If this question is asked before, then I've not read it actually. Thank you.

Yes. After the kickstarter is over E&C plans on selling them via his company Troublemaker Games.

At the moment they are on the kickstarter to help raise funds for the sprue upgrades.

We probably will, but are waiting for two things to happen:

1 - Confirmation with the factory on some costings.
2 - For me to sculpt the special Riflemen Pledge reward figures.

Incidentally, just floating this as a possibility at this stage, we could put out a ~40 page A5 size game rulebook for £5 per rulebook.

Anybody got any interest in being involved in developing a rule set for Defeat In Detail?

I'm not in the market for another army scale sci-fi game right now, and it is a congested market all of a sudden!

Ditto. More interested in more sweet models to play in existing games than another rules set.

Same. I'm perfectly happy with the EA rules; They are sufficiently abstract to cover a wide variety of sci-fi and modern armies. I'd much rather see new and interesting miniatures.

Lob up a pdf and I'm sure people will look and comment ;) Did all the naming rights sell yet? Guess a book with "NAME PENDING" may look odd!

I think perhaps producing army cards and whatnot for these guys to slot into polyversal would be a better option.... depending on how good a game polyversal turns out to be of course!

Had some threats but nobody's plumped for them just yet. I've got names held in reserve if necessary.

Could be.... as Mephison said, it is looking crowded. Though nothing has really grabbed me enough to desert EA yet (despite my problems with it.) TL300 rules look fun and professionally produced. Can you provide a sketch of what you had planned for DID rules ?

Incidentally - I had high hopes for Polyversal but seems to have dropped off the end of the world. Anyone know how that's going ?

Good work on the "Beast" btw.
