The "AA vehicles set" is now available for pre-order!

We're not 100% certain currently what the next major stretch goal funding level will be*, as we're conducting some discussions behind the scenes, but we'll let you know as soon as we have solidified the figures.

*Though we do know it'll be for a sculpt addition to the plastic sprue.

my gut reaction is that tapered is a nicer choice, but if they're supposed to be flipped for the bikers etc, straight might be best

Agreed. I'm not that fussed either way, but if they're intended to be flipped for some items (bikes, horsies), I think minimising the 'reverse taper' would look best.

Spiffy :)

Okay, so with that out of my system, and while I'm asking for the moon on a stick, could you please post up an updated version of the sprue? I'd like to know what the humans will look like (i.e. the page says they will be 'bulked-up') now the test casting's on route; and I'd also be interested to know whether the alien vehicle's redesign has been firmed-up.

Basically, what's going on with the basic sprue at the moment?

I'd prefer flat not tapered bases.

Cool happening of the day: Some guy named "Andy Chambers" clicked 'like' on a facebook post of ours that was chatting about our latest stretch goal.

Nice! All together - Jervis... Jervis... Jervis... ;) (would probably be a summery dismissal/execution for him unfortunately.)

On the bases, i'd pref straight as it'd match my existing coins.

Duly preordered. I'm now only 3 artillery batteries and a bomber flight away from a full-fledged 3K NetEA army :)

Straight bases for me. Tapered does look a bit better, but straight are easier to pick up and looks better when you flip the base for bikes.

been asking around, and it seems there a few people watching who are holding off hoping the sprues will be split ( they only want one faction).

no real data survey, just a few comments.

It'll cost about £3k more to split the sprues (that's cost, not pre-orders. Pre-order value would be considerably more, of course).

Long term that's something I definitely want to be able to do - put aside profits from the first production runs into creating "daughter" sprues that only contain one faction. That's part of the advantage of the digital toolmaking process, "daughter" tools are comparatively cheap if they use the same layout, and just rotate side A by 180 degrees for side B... (ok we'll have to do something about the alien cannons at that point, but it should be fairly pain free to move it).

We could try a specific stretch goal for it, but I think we'd do better getting more sculpts on there now, and split them at our leisure later on.

Seems like the flatter sides are more popular for the bases. I'll inform the factory.
