I like the uber dual Gatling gun pod. Sticks up a bit weird to me. Might want to check the mounts for it but I like the concept.

There's space to drop it a bit, easy.

Yes, this is the head. Is this thing truescale to 6mm figures?

Love the design, especially the theater ballistic missile.

I would think the gatling guns would look better with ammo container sticking out each side at the back?

My instincts say that doing that would be a scale indicator in the wrong direction. To me, every detail should be emphasizing the sheer immensity of the thing. So if ben did do an ammo box, I'd want double doors and a loading crane or something.

On the E:A core book, that cover art detail of the access panel and the ladder leading to access the barrel of the cannon really drives home its size. That's something that large vehicle and spaceship designers should take to heart.

Not a fan overall. Too lanky, and the chicken legs don't do anything for me. But that's just taste.

The angled carapace mounts though are a realism problem for me. The KV-2 had trouble rotating its turret when not on level ground due to balance issues causing the turret ring to bind. Why would these much larger turrets not have this problem? It destroys the illusion of scale.

I don't think tanks of the time had any positive connection to the hull (by which I mean anything that could resist tension - the turrets were just sitting on their ball bearings). That's why they'd fly off so easily when ammo in the hull blew. I imagine turrets like these would have flanges and ball bearings on both sides, and by maintaining compression you'd avoid the KV-2's problems. It's no different from the arm weapon's "shoulder" joint, really.

Some internal spaces will allow putting some figures inside.

Took a quick break from the Leviathan Stalker to work a bit on my alien bug. Gave him a "fully grown" version, and a subspecies with biological gun arms instead of a second pair of preying mantis arms.

Nice. I'm not convinced by the large eyes though, you risk neoteny and associated cuteness, plus the scale problems...
Biggest eyes probably shouldn't be any bigger than a human head I think, largest eye ever recorded is 264mm.

I realise they are aliens, but physics still tends to constrain physiology in certain ways, and sense of scale and plausibility is strongly affected by details like this I think.

Great to know that about the weapons and it makes me want the Ordnance Conveyor even more.
