I don't know if you could have released them more sneakily if you tried though :)

The Eloi look good though Will there be more of a range for them or just those now?

If we get some sales I will sculpt more. Sales of Eloi to date total zero pounds. :-)

What is needed really is a complete overhaul of the TG site. The last time the home page was updated was when crowdfunder 1 got started and the home page still shows the older plastic sprue design from that time.
No mention of funder 2 or how the funders faired has been posted. Revamp the home page to include the 6mm range as a key part of the companies future strategy and keep regular updates coming, once a month at the very least.

You could do with good visibility on new releases and show all the current and imminent release 6mm models painted or otherwise to inspire confidence in the new range expanding to potential customers. Make the 6mm stuff your premier range. You need to blow your trumpet and gain attention for your new models. Case in point the Eloi and lack of sales, how many people even know they exist. Just a few thoughts i think you should consider to improove your marketing strategy.

Wip shots of future models will help show the potential of the range as well. Comunication to/with customers is key to good marketing and future sales too.

SHOUT LOUD, LOOK AT OUR SNAZY NEW MODELS! :)

Moredakka is very correct. You guys should probably spend some cash and get a proffesional to do your site. It's well worth the cost. I did this for my gym and got way more customers!

Also its simple division of labor and focusing on core competencies. Your job is to make the best army guys you can so we'll buy them and so you don't have to stand on a corner with a sign that says, "get it here" :).

The website isn't a goal or deliverable in its own right and is there simply to facilitate the sales of pretty things to us types. Anything that allows you all to focus on what you guys are good at and what you like to do is good.

I personally would love to get my hands on the Eloi. I can't speak for everyone else, but one of the main deterrents for myself lies in the fact that it's just one unit type. Unless I can fill out a full army, or at least MOST of a full army, I am very unlikely to invest. Plus I may or may not still be recovering from Christmas budgets and such. ;D

well I just ordered some Eloi (and some bombers), so make more stuff and make it snappy ;D

(in jest, not serious...Although anything that could help fill out a Dark conehead army or a regular conehead army would not be frowned upon...)

Wot he said. Don't keep winking in the dark ! :)

Surely you guys can find someone to run your PR/website who doesn't mind being paid in lead ? :D

How about an entrance hatch on the back for the crew.

needs some small panel lines and other hatches and whatnot on the big sheets of armor. Going the right direction, especially with the stance

Regarding the website, the fortunate thing is that yours doesn't really need to do anything too out of the ordinary. To be honest you could probably get something that looks nice enough on one of the website builder & hosting sites, they're a lot better than they used to be.

However the main thing is that you need to update it - it's not going to do it by itself no matter how much you pay :) If you can't easily update it yourself then that is a reason to change it, a content management system that can be used by anyone who knows how to use Word is standard fare these days.

No idea what arrangement you and zombo have about it, maybe you got it covered, but you can send me a PM about it if you want some advice.

I'll probably be ordering more Eloi soon when some other stuff comes out - I kind of accidentally under-ordered (probably will want two more packs).
