Post subject:  Which Needle Files?

I am after some good quality needle files as my old ones are on their way out.
My recent budget purchase from Amazon proved a foolish idea as they suck chunks.

So, can anyone suggest a good set (or singles) from a UK source please?

Do GW do any as that would be very handy.

Michael.

Those look nice, but not 40GBP nice. I got a set of ten double ended files with curved ends at the last Adepticon for seven bucks. They're from Battle Ready Figs - the webste seems to be down, but they are listed as attending ACon 2013, so assumedly they're still in business. I have to admit I've not used the files yet, but they look nice.

I'd Agree £40 sounds too high, there should be some comfortable middle ground between ebay rubbish and that.
Can't help with suppliers based on personal experiance im afraid, i've never purposefully set out to buy them before, they just sort of …accumulate over the years somehow.

That said, i'd give these a shot if ordering in the UK:

6 for £7 and they won't be trash

Yeah, I usually just pick some up at places like Hobbytown, USA or my local model railroading store. More often that not they turn out to be worthless, but not always.

In any case, at less than a $1 a piece it's hard to complain too much.

You could check out micromark's online store for some low prices.

https://www.kobalttools.com/
Kobalt makes a good set of files and cheap enough that I've never had cause to complain.
