Believe it or not i managed to miss this thread until yesterday. Having read through this subject i find myself deeply saddened over such events.
It was indeed forumware that got me back into epic after a long spell doing historical micro armour collecting. For me personally collecting the model armies is my thing, with gaming being secondary, so as you can imagine i am feeling rather sad
I have always collected the imperial armour books from FW and follow several BL series novels too, and probably still will but without new models based on FW designs being made how will i maintain my interest. Proxy model are fine but i like the real thing after all a landraider is a landraider nothing else will do, i don't like being forced to go with counts as models.
The 40K universe is where i want to play i love the dark gothic background and refuse to allow GW to sour my interest.
I understand that the TC forum must do what it must do to protect itself, and i thank CS for telling us the reasons that this has happened.
It just seems to me that this is the final nail in the epic coffin and that the box is now going in the ground.
Hope i am wrong, and i will still try to update my thread regularly but many of my future painting project contain models that i can no longer show so we will see.
