So, a while back I was thinking that what I needed was a extremely fiddly and frustrating way to accurize some of my models. Here's what I came up with: Attachment: Attachment: My plan is to use the larger banner for special characters and/or elite units, while the pennants are for the rank and file (so as to more easily distinguish one from the other from a distance). |

Yeah, now I just need to glue 200 wings and 100 flags to my 100 jetbike models, then attach those to 33 bases. I think I'll need to make a jig. |

yes, a gadget to make it easy to actually glue those things would probably be very useful... |

Did you, perchance, mold them with built-in mounting pins? Being able to just drill and plug would be extremely useful. |

Well, I did design them with integral pins, but I made them too large and the size of the drill hole required tends to tear up the plastic model. I considered redoing the parts, but I didn't think the smaller pin diameters would cast. In the end I decided to settle for clipping off the pins and gluing directly to the body. I will post a step-by-step guide when I get the photos taken. |
